According to figures from the Amsterdam Tourism and Convention Bureau. The average American spend more than 180 euros per person per day last year. The biggest expenses are accommodation, food and attractions. The British followed at a respectable 155 euros per person, which are mainly spend at clubbing and going out. The Dutch spends “only” 136 euro per day.
Americans and Britons are not only generous, they are also very keen on Amsterdam. The average tourist gives Amsterdam a 8.1, but Americans and Britons value our city with a respectively 8.41 and 8.25. The Dutch tourists pulls the average down again. Amsterdam gets a 7.83 of the Dutch.
