The old Shell tower, located near Central station, will become  a hotel/nightclub and restaurant.

The 21 floors tower will get  a revolving restaurant on top, a panorma deck, a nightclub and a restaurant. Some of these floors will become a hotel.
The Tower has been empty for years, the city of Amsterdam put it up for sale for a minimum amount of 10 million Euro.

It’s scheduled to re-open in 2015. The location will then probably become a tourist attraction, further adding to the development of the north side of the IJ river at the back of the Central Station.
