According to Lonely Planet: Amsterdam is the world’s second best city to visit in 2013!
Only San Francisco in the U.S. is ahead of Amsterdam in the top 10 cities of the world, third place will go to Hyderabad in India.
Each year Lonely Planet, the world’s largest publisher of guides, creates a top city list of destinations that are worth to visit.
Amsterdam is also on the 2nd place because next year we will celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Amsterdam canals and the reopening of the Rijksmuseum.
Considering the popularity of Lonely Planet, this election is important for Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
