Brouwerij t ij, located in the eastern part of Amsterdam, is a great place for drinking Amsterdam’s second famous beer: ‘t IJ bier. It is brewed right there.
When you arrive you’ll see a huge windmill, a true Dutch land mark. Good for snapping some pictures.
You can take a tour through the brewery or just chill and sit at the terrace while enjoying all their great tasting beers! In the summertime this is a very busy place. All the locals come here to drink their beloved beers. They have 10 different flavors of IJbeer from a light one to a dark 9% Struis beer. A IJbeer starts at 3 euro a glass, but it’s worth every penny!
If you ask me, this is way cooler to do instead of that other big brewery.
