Appelsap, which means applejuice, is an urban festival in the Oosterpark in Amsterdam. It started in 2000 as a free festival but as it grew and gained popularity you now need a ticket to get in.
There are live performances not only by hip hop artists, but there will also be a stage where electronic music is played. The line-up has not yet been revealed but the past has shown that a lot of unknown artist that played on the festival became big later on. For example Kendrick Lamar and Theophilus London performed on Appelsap!
Besides the nice music, the food is also good and the festival area is filled with friendly and laid back people.
