Restaurant De Struisvogel is located on the corner of the Berenstraat and the Keizersgracht. In the basement of the manor house you’ll find this very small and intimate restaurant. This restaurant has room for 34 guests so you know this is very small restaurant. De Struisvogel has a homely atmosphere with it’s interiour looking old Dutch or French. Because this restaurant is very small and the tables aren’t too close to each other the Struisvogel has a very intimate atmosphere.
The menu is mostly French and you can choose from a 3 course menu for only € 23,50. A good thing about this restaurant is the use of only organic and free range meat which you can taste! The dishes are well presented and in good proportions, it’s almost too much but you’ll finish your course because it’s damn tasty!
This restaurant can be hired by groups, and it’s a perfect place to celebrate your birthday with a group of 30 people. Or just go on a regular evening with your beloved ones for a intimate or romantic dinner in the Jordaan.
