The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the leading electronic music platform and the biggest club festival in the world for the whole spectrum of electronic sub-genres. The event offers a full program of daytime conferences, including ADE Pro in the Felix Meritis and the Dylan Hotel, the Hard Dance Event (HDE) focusing on the harder styles in dance music, ADE Next for aspiring producers and musicians, and ADE University for students who want to learn about the realities of working in the entertainment industry from experts and mentors. ADE’s daytime activities also include the cutting-edge technology forum Music and Bits as well as the Tech Lounge start-up zone, both taking place in the De Balie, and Playground; a series of pop-up shops, musical/cross-cultural happenings and unique one-off events across the city aimed at festival goers.

Over the last 17 years, the ADE has grown from a three-day event largely focussed on dance music into a platform for every imaginable kind of electronic music spread over five days. The event kicks off on Wednesday with ADE Pro, ADE Playground and ADE University, the Music and Bits conference program. On top of that, ADE also now includes the awards ceremony of the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll on Friday evening in the Convention Factory.
Tickets for ADE’s main conference program (ADE Pro) are available in two options: a 1-day ticket or a 5-day ticket, both offering access to the full conference program (including sub conferences) on that particular day. The 5-day ticket is the only ticket that includes entrance to the festival program as well. For most of the sub conferences you can also buy separate tickets.
