The Amsterdam Restaurant Week is a semi-annual event where around 165 restaurants will be offering sumptuous three-course meals at measly prices. If you’re lucky enough to be there when it happens, this is one event you cannot miss. Some of Amsterdam’s finest restaurants partake in this event and it’s a real treat for visitors to eat to their heart’s filling at a Michelin-starred restaurant at a price they can afford to forget.
Featuring restaurants like the Supperclub, Restaurant Fifteen, Nevy, Stout and Van Vlaanderen, the Amsterdam Restaurant Week comes loaded with delightful dishes, discounted menus and best of all, economical prices. Since it’s a pretty popular event on the city’s calendar, it’s best if you make a reservation beforehand by visiting the Amsterdam Restaurant week’s website.
The average prices can be anything from 20 to 30 euros, though some Michelin biggies may charge extra. If you want to get a run of the place, you could try different cuisines in different restaurants throughout the week and come out of it without burning holes in your pockets. For instance, there are several Indonesian, Chinese, African, Dutch and International cuisine restaurants included in the Amsterdam Restaurant Week roster so hit ‘em all, we would say. Most of the restaurants have their own trademark dish so don’t forget to sample that as well. Dinner prices may be a bit higher than lunch prices and beverages, especially alcoholic, may not be included in the discounted price.
Reservations can be made starting Wednesday, February 6th at 10:00h.
