Wool Week is the annual highlight of The Campaign for Wool which takes place every Autumn around the world. Celebrating the best of wool across fashion, interiors and artisan communities, the focus of Wool Week is to show the amazing capabilities of the world’s most natural and versatile fibre.
Each year Wool Week is launched with a traffic stopping stunt. In 2010 London’s iconic Saville Row transformed into a grazing pasture for real sheep to graze on and in 2011 His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales opened Wool Modern, a travelling exhibition featuring stunning wool fashion from the archives of designers such as Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen and this year is no different. An incredible woolly makeover will transform famous shopping landmark Harvey Nichols in London to kick off the celebrations – all will be revealed on October 15th!
Leading brands and retailers are involved in Wool Week activities around the world so look forward to stunts, fashion shows, design competitions, exhibitions and, of course some beautiful sheep, all of which is dedicated to the wonder of wool!
