A staple tipple in the Netherlands, it may come as no surprise that jenever (sometimes known as Dutch gin) has its own festival! Head to the Posthoornkerk on 16 & 17 March 2013 to see what all the fuss is about.
With a huge array of workshops, masterclasses and tastings, the fourth edition of the festival aims to show the various faces of the drink. A mixing and cocktails programme will run throughout the festival and on the final day, don’t miss professional bartenders battling it out for first place in the Dutch Open National Championship for Mixing & Cocktails with Jenever.
The festival is open from 13:00 to 23:00 on Saturday, 16 March and from 13:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, 17 March.

- Dutch Open Championship ‘Mix & Cocktails with gin’ (4th edition), by the Dutch Club Bartender. Live presentations with professional bartenders from domestic and other countries compete for the first prize. For all attendees free of charge. The award ceremony will take place immediately after the match.
