Nuit Blanche 2013 is the yearly celebration of Amsterdam’s Underground & Avantgarde. The festival shows you theater, exhibitions, music and will of course include clubnights. While the previous 4 years it was a one night festival, now they are ready to expand! Starting on June 28th Nuit Blanche will last for one week full of cultural events. Having a different location every year, this year they chose the Red Light District. Yes, let’s be honest, with all its history and stories this area is a great location for creativity in all its forms! At this moment the program of Nuit Blanche is not yet known. However, creative partners within stage art, music, photography, food and journalism are currently working hard to shape up Nuit Blanche for 2013. Ticket sale is planned to start in March, so be sure to keep an eye on the website and don’t miss it!
Nuit Blanche (White Night) is a yearly nightfestival, programming its events between 19:00 and 07:00. In Amsterdam it was started by a group of young people who wanted to show the creativity in Amsterdam. They were inspired by the Nuit Blanche festival in Paris. A nice-to-know is that White Night in French means to skip a night. So, are you ready to skip a night or 2?
