Bitterzoet opened it’s doors in 2003 and is one of the best clubs to dance to some good hip hop, soul and rhythm and blues. It’s a small club at the beginning of the Spuistraat, a couple minutes from Central Station. You can go here almost every night. They also program a lot of live shows which could be legendary because the venue is very small and very intimate during a concert. Pete rock and CL smooth, the Beatnuts, Clipse but also Jesse Dee and Matt and Kim are just a few big names who played in this venue.
The crowd is diverse; students, hip hop heads and people who just want to dance to good quality music. If you want to have a good night in Bitterzoet, be sure to buy your tickets in advance because it’s sold out very quickly.
