Steakhouse Loetje is one of the best steakhouses in Amsterdam. Great steaks, and for those who love spicy food take the Bali XL version as my boyfriend did. He loved it!!
This new Loetje location in the East district of Amsterdam feels just right and we also enjoyed the perfect service, very friendly, great ambiance and I love how they decorate their Cafe.
You cannot reserve in advance ( only if you want to have diner with more then 6 people ) but it is so worth the wait. Cafe Loetje was buzzing with a friendly crowd when I went on a friday evening. You give your name, order a beer and wait till they call your name.
When we got seated (after about half an hour) we ordered for starter smoked Salmon with wasabi and Capraccio and we ordered ofcourse the famous Loetje Steaks ( beef fillet steak ) and fries as main course. The smoked Salmon and Carpaccio were both delicious and the steak was sensational – and I’m really picky about my steak!
I can highly recommend Cafe Loetje!
