Coffeeshop Softland 1 is a pretty good coffeeshop if you realize it’s in the center of Amsterdam. Prices are kind of high, but still for the center reasonable.
They have a large selection of weed and hash. I took the Sahara hash of € 10 and that was actually a disappointment, it didn’t gave me the high feeling I expected. Maybe it wasn’t a real good batch.
The ambiance however was cool, nice couches on the sides so you have enough space. It made me feel like I was in a spaceship. Relaxed atmosphere, nobody was really paying attention you were there.
The girl behind the counter helped me pick out my hash and gave me a look at 5 different sorts. The only thing that bothered me was the big television screen on the wall. I don’t understand why coffeeshops do that, because when you’re high you got drawn in to it.
