De laatste kruimel, literally translated the last crumb is an italian eatery in the city centre. This small place is situated just off the rokin, one of the big streets you enter when you start walking from central station via the dam. De laatste kruimel is on your right hand side. In the summer there is a really small terrace when you can watch all the boats come by. Inside there are cosy seats and the people working there are all Italian. You can order all kinds of chocolates, cheese cakes and delightful quiche. There is a small selection of cold and warm sandwiches which are all classic Italian. The main favourites of your Amsterdam reviewer are the tuna melt and the meatloafbread. A true delight.
Tip: when your done at madame tussauds or the dam this place is a 5 minutes walk! It’s definitely worth the visit.
