I love de negen straatjes!! The picturesque 9 streets are one of the nicest and most characteristic streets of Amsterdam.
More than 190 different unique shops and restaurants are located in de negen straatjes.
De negen straatjes run parallel to each other between Singel and Prinsengracht in the western part of the city center.
The canals are filled with one of a kind small shops, vintage stores, alternative fashion, specialized theme stores, small designer stores and galleries. This part of the centre is very popular among shoppers searching for unique products and gifts.
You will not find the international stores like Zara or H&M here but tiny individual shops.
The streets are also an excellent location for a good cup of coffee and a short escape from the busier streets of Amsterdam.
After a day shopping and a delicious meal in one of the restaurants that you may find, look at the lights that are glowing on the canals, I think it’s one of the most beautiful views of Amsterdam!
