Restaurant Morlang, located on the Keizersgracht, on a five minutes walk from Leidseplein, and just next to the Leidsestraat, is a good restaurant with a warm ambiance.
The restaurant has a nice but small terrace next to the canal, to have lunch in the sun, overlooking the boats passing by. But also when it’s not sunny, it’s nice to sit inside. With its high ceilings and classy interior, it can be typed as classic, but modern.
Everytime I ate here, I was stunned by the quality of the food. The dishes are surprising and the presentation of the plates are great. The menu changes every few months and it’s an international cuisine. The winelist is good, but not that long. Prices vary between 17,50 euro and 39 euro a bottle.
Morlang is a good choice to have a nice lunch or dinner, with great food, in a inviting ambiance. After dinner, it’s only a short walk to Leidseplein or 15 minutes to Rembrandtplein, where you can go for some more drinks.
