This Italian restaurant likes to call itself the smallest kitchen with the greatest taste. And it’s true!
This restaurant is located on the Herengracht, close to the Rembrandtplein. A perfect spot to have dinner and move on into the nightlife. The restaurant offers seating for 20 people, so it’s very small. We arrived here on a Sunday at 8 o ‘clock without making a reservation. We were lucky and had a table within 15 minutes, but I’d like to advise you to make a reservation upfront.
The staff is very informal and to my opinion not professional enough for a beautiful restaurant as this. The courses and its ingredients were delightful, but the waiter simply ruined it by making bad jokes and pouring way to much wine into our glasses. I have to make a small remark about the meals, the quality was superb but the quantity wasn’t. On the menu it said salmon and shrimps, we counted 1 shrimp…
Bottom line: make a reservation, try the fantastic food and immediately tell the staff you want some privacy and correct service!
